BXB announces new Indian distributor at InfoComm India 2016
INDIA: BXB has recently announced the appointment of Univeso as its new distributor for India. The Taiwanese company first met Univeso at InfoComm India in 2015. As BXB’s Selena Huang explains 'Raman Kanwar, the director of the company has more than 10 years of experience in the Indian education market and is very familiar with this area. After we introduced the conference and PA systems to him and discussed the applications, he felt that the products had a lot of potential in the Indian market. We also discovered that he has a really good command of technical systems integration which underlines BXB commitment to its customers' needs and can provide the best service support in India.'
Delhi-based Univeso also distributes Lumens Digital Optics Inc, AHA I&C and MediaPointe, and Mr Kanwar feels confident that the BXB systems are a perfect addition to its existing range. 'India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and the A/V business is growing at a rapid pace every year; BXB conference systems and PA systems have a huge market in India. I believe there will be a large requirement for the PA systems for the Smart Cities Mission – a bold new initiative from the Indian government. In addition, the government is giving huge funds for the setup of virtual classrooms to educational institutions and BXB Conference Systems which come with the in-built “Look at Me” feature could be in huge demand for these, where the camera automatically tracks the person who asks a question.' Mr Kanwar adds, 'Currently, there are many new IITs, NITS, AIIMs and other educational institutions coming up in India which will have a huge demand for conference systems and PA systems. Also, there are many new projects initiated by the Indian Government where many new buildings will have requirements for conference systems for their conference rooms. The BXB PA system is an ideal solution for a building management system which can be interlinked with an organisation’s EPABX, security, announcements and video streaming.'
