Dazastah chooses Eve

AUSTRALIA: Australian producer and MC Dazastah, aka Darren Reutens, of the Perth-based hip-hop group, Downsyde, has added a pair of Eve Audio SC205 monitors to his personal studio.

‘I really like how the AMTs give good high-end transients without washing the stereo field,’ explained Dazastah, ‘and I love how the 5-inch cone punches above its weight in the bottom-end. Great monitor.’

Dazastah is currently working with Rob Shaker out of the iconic Shake Down Studios in Perth, which features a pair of Eve Audio SC407s in the control room that he has been using for recording, engineering and mixing. ‘They’re just amazing,’ said Dazastah, of the Sc407s. ‘The bottom end is unbelievably tight and detailed, they are so good to work on.’
