CHINA: DiGiGrid has named Beijing Pacific Budee Technology Development (Budee) as the exclusive distributor of its desktop and rackmount solutions across Greater China. Budee is well known in the Chinese A/V market, already representing brands such as API, Avid, DK-Technologies, Electro-Voice, Lectrosonics, Martin Audio, Nugen Audio, Sennheiser and Wheatstone and among others. DiGiGrid states that the appointment forms part of its continued focus on the ‘rapidly growing Chinese marketplace’.

‘There’s great momentum building for the region and Budee is the ideal partner to help us continue developing our presence in this complex and dynamic market,’ said Dan Page, brand manager at DiGiGrid. ‘As we continue to expand our audio portfolio, our regional partners are absolutely key to our ongoing success, and we are looking forward to working in collaboration with Budee to extend our reach in this key region.’

Budee’s director of strategic alliance, Mills Xu, expressed excitement at expanding the reach of DiGiGrid’s solutions in Greater China. ‘The brand has already been very well received by Chinese broadcasters and studio customers as these intuitive solutions help audio and music professionals to work more efficiently,’ he said. ‘DiGiGrid’s interfaces are well known for helping customers capture and deliver premium audio quality, real-time DSP and networking to a much wider user base.’
