DirectOut offers a new look EXBOX.BLDS MADI
DirectOut has relaunched its EXBOX.BLDS MADI redundancy switch in order to bring the range into line with the rest of the company’s new-look portfolio. Its relaunch will see a new look to the design. The product detects Madi streams from both playback systems, and switches from one to the other in case of failure. This can be reportedly be done with a large amount of channels, allowing for rig scalability both up and down.
It features sample-accurate Madi switching of multiple channels, and is designed to be compact and lightweight. Moreover, it can switch between redundant playback and key rigs, and switch to running playback from computers, adding an extra layer of redundancy. The EXBOX.BLDS automatically triggers a switchover if the control signals from the Madi streams are violated or missing in any way.
