DPA launches new website

Published: WORLD

WEB: DPA Microphones has launched a new website designed to make finding the right microphone easier. The site now includes a Mic Finder tool, more comprehensive product information and the latest company news, articles and reviews about forthcoming events.

‘The whole premise behind our new website is to make it easier for customers to find the right DPA product for their needs,’ said Anne Berggrein, vice president of marketing at DPA. ‘However, we also take our role as educators very seriously, too. We have incredibly knowledgeable people on our team and we want to share their expertise with the wider world. We’ve also incorporated useful video content and we will be regularly updating this to ensure that it stays constructive and relevant.’

The website showcases the manufacturer’s complete line of condenser microphones with full product specifications for each. In addition to this, the new Mic Finder tool divides the manufacturer’s catalogue into three categories – type, series and application. Users select the relevant options and the website lists every suitable DPA microphone.

‘Mic Finder is a fantastic tool because it takes all the guess work out of finding the right microphone,’ added Ms Berggrein. ‘Even if you are completely new to the world of microphones and don’t really know what you are looking for, our Mic Finder will point you in the right direction by identifying products that are perfectly suited to your needs.’

As well as microphones, the website highlights non-standard products such as capsules and pre-amp customisation options, and provides a breakdown of DPA accessories. Once the user’s microphone has been selected and customised, their wish list can be sent using the site’s international store locator to the nearest dealer, who will then contact customers to offer further advice before completing the order.
