SINGAPORE and MALAYSIA: EAW’s Redline speakers and Allen & Heath’s dLive mixing console were officially launched in Singapore and Malaysia last week by regional distributor, Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd. Taking place at the Joyden Hall, the Singapore event attracted a broad range of over 100 guests including rental and staging companies, houses of worship, schools, systems integrators and consultants. The event in Kuala Lumpur reportedly elicited a similar turnout and response.

Supporting the launch on behalf of A&H was Alex Schloesser, business development manager, Asia Pacific – Latin America, Global Market Management, who gave guests a run down on dLive’s development including the thought process behind it and the materials used. On behalf of EAW, James Bamlett, ASG specialist, APAC, touched on the unique aspects of the Redline series, highlighting its ease of deployment. Guests also got to the listen to Redline in action as well as get hands-on with the dLive.

‘It has been great,’ enthused Mr Bamlett. ‘It is a really good turnout and it was also a great chance to catch up with people.’ Sharing the same sentiment, Mr Schloesser commented that the turnout was great.

‘There was definitely a strong interest in the solutions and we are pleased to bring the latest technologies to the industry,’ commented E&E deputy managing director, Gary Goh. ‘The brands were great in getting involved and sharing their expertise with the industry and we look forward to more collaborations in the future.’
