Epson debuts lamp-free projectors in Singapore

Published: ASIA

SINGAPORE: Epson’s first lamp-free laser phosphor projector was officially launched this morning at an event in Singapore. The event provided attendees with an experiential guided tour through a number of large-scale presentations showcasing features such as the units’ built-in camera for automatic colour and image calibration, its 6,000 lumens 4K output, and its use in any orientation such as portrait projections.

‘Epson is pleased to launch our first series of lamp-free 3LCD laser projectors,’ said Tan May Lin, Epson Singapore’s general manager (sales, marketing and customer service division). ‘With this launch, we have become one of the few projector brands in the world that are able to offer a comprehensive lineup, consisting of both lamp and lamp-free projectors, powered by our 3LCD technology. We are definitely committed to further improving our range. We look forward to exciting the market with more innovation, and we aim to grow our strengths in the mid and large venue market segments. At the later part of this year, we will be launching our 12,000 and 25,000 lumens laser projectors. This launch is really the start of an exciting journey for all of us in Epson as well as for our end users and business partners.’

The new lineup currently consists of four models ranging from 6,000 to 12,000 lumens in Southeast Asia – the L1100U, L1200U, L1405U and L1505U.

‘Epson has spent more than 15 years working to extend the durability of projectors, as well as to deliver projectors that achieve new levels of brightness and reliability,’ added the Singapore general manager. ‘The new EB-L1000 series of laser light source projectors underscores our commitment to the laser and high brightness market, and cements Epson’s position as the number one projector brand worldwide for 15 years running.’
