Eve Audio hosts seminars in Seoul
KOREA: As part of Eve Audio’s recent tour of Asia, the manufacturer visited dealers and studios in Seoul, while in the city to stage a pair of seminars in conjunction with its Korean distributor, Sound n Music. The purpose of the seminars was to introduce the region’s pro audio market to its range of studio monitors. Eve Audio’s CEO, Roland Stenz, and sales and marketing manager sales Kerstin Mischke were among the manufacturer’s representatives that made the trip.
The first of the seminars was held at LoudBell Studio, where owner and engineer Moon-soo Park uses SC203s as well as a 2.2 system that includes two SC307s and a pair of TS108s when mixing and mastering. There was a reported attendance of 15, from which Sound n Music drew a competition winner. Seung-Ik Shin won a discounted rate on his next Eve Audio purchase.
On the following day, the offices of online Korean audio platform Cuonet provided the venue for the second seminar, which attracted 25 participants. The competition winner for this seminar was Eunseong Kim. Reputable Korean composer and producer Chi-woong Yoon was also in attendance. Mr Yoon is noted as having worked with some of country’s biggest artists, such as Lee Seung-Cheol. Once the second seminar concluded, a workshop took place that tackled low frequency enhancement with subwoofers for main monitoring.
In addition to the seminars, representatives from Eve Audio and Sound n Music also paid visits to Seoul-based dealers Kukje Midi and FutureMedia.
Both manufacturer and distributor consider the events a success. ‘We were very pleased to have Mr Stenz and Mrs Mischke in Korea. The seminars were very successful and received great feedback from customers and dealers,’ said JY Kim, CEO of Sound n Music. ‘We hope to maintain our great relationship with Eve Audio and achieve mutual growth in brand awareness in Korea.’
