Goa’s Terminal Lounge outfitted with Mackie

INDIA: Having recently opened its doors inside Goa’s Caculo Mall, the Terminal Lounge bar has been outfitted with a complete Mackie sound reinforcement system. Designed and integrated by noted SI Karl Moraes, with equipment sourced through locally based Goodwill Audio, the all ‘active’ setup combines the manufacturer’s SRM450v3 loudspeakers, SRM1850 subwoofers and ProFX16 v2 mixing console.

‘Ever since I used first used Mackie products a few years ago for a reputed project, I’ve fallen in love with the sound and sheer quality of these products,’ enthused Mr Moraes. ‘I honestly believe that Mackie truly represents the best value for money products in the country today and this is why we chose to go in for an all Mackie setup at the Terminal Lounge. The all-active setup is one of the key reasons behind the great energy and vibe at the Terminal Lounge, and the precise positioning of the SRM1850s and the SRM450s – some flush mounted into the wall and some placed on stands –

is the secret behind the even coverage and maximum aural impact across the entire venue. There’s absolutely no doubt that the place sounds fantastic, and this is only reaffirmed by the several compliments that the management has received from their patrons. Needless to say, the management as well as the owners are extremely pleased.’
