WORLD: Continuing with ongoing expansion plans, Green Hippo has made four new hires across its sales, marketing and production teams. Financial controller Jacqueline Attard, sales manager Phil Blue, junior production engineer Rob Moss and PR and marketing executive Anastasia Nikolaou all join the company’s UK headquarters.
Ms Attard possesses vast experience managing the financial complexities of a global business having held senior positions at large European and American companies such as Deloitte. ‘I am both delighted and excited to join the Green Hippo team at such an exciting phase in its growth,’ she stated. ‘As a qualified finance professional with over 15 years’ experience working for global multinationals across a variety of industries, I look forward to making a difference to Green Hippo.’
Joining with a technical sales background across multiple international territories, Mr Blue is already making headway in the sales manager job utilising his existing contacts in the market and industry knowledge. ‘Things are moving really fast and our new activities in the international markets are unique, challenging and fun, all at once,’ he said. ‘It’s great to be a part of this sales and marketing team under James Roth’s management.’
Meanwhile, Mr Moss holds experience from both a manufacturing and end-client perspective. He has served as a broadcasting engineer at the BBC and as a senior technician at Orange Amplifiers. ‘With a background in various industries and disciplines, I’m looking forward learning new skills and getting hands-on with a group of industry-leading products,’ he commented.
Relocating from Athens to London, Ms Nikolaou brings five years of television industry experience to the PR and marketing role. ‘This is a great opportunity for me to further explore the A/V industry, learn new things and meet with wonderful people,’ said Ms Nikolaou. ‘Our plans for the international markets are really exciting and some of the projects we’re now working on are ground-breaking.’
