GSL Professional celebrates Studer Week success
UAE: Regional Harman Professional distributor GSL Professional has hailed its recent Studer Week event as having received ‘a great response’. The company has also described the event as an alternative to the Cabsat broadcast exhibition, from which it was absent this year.
As previously reported, Studer Week actually comprised three days with a number of seminars on offer. On the first day, Studer’s Tibor Tamas offered an overview of the manufacturer’s Infinity Core technology, while on the second day attendees received training on the Vista X console. The third and final day was filled with one-to-one demonstrations.
‘We saw a great turn out and also a great reaction to us holding Studer Week,’ enthused Jaime Collins, PR and marketing manager for GSL Professional. ‘We wanted to do something a bit different this year with our events and exhibitions and I am very pleased with the outcome of this first event. It enables our customers or potential customers to have a more detailed conversation that can’t always be achieved at exhibitions – this event was about being able to provide more for them and I think we achieved that.’
‘We were able to have a lot more direct conversations by holding the event in this way,’ added Ibrahim Shishani, recording and broadcast executive for GSL Professional.
Basheer Saad, MBC group audio supervisor, described the event as ‘a great opportunity to get a more hands on approach. The private one to one appointments were extremely useful’. Finally, Milad Abboud of Oasis Enterprises reportedly found the event ‘informative – it was very useful to understand the technical aspects of the desks and get a solid overview from Tibor. The timing of the event is perfect for us and I look forward to it again next year.’
