Hands-free page turning for worship musicians

Published:

Worship musicians and choristers have been offered a hands-free page turning device with IK Multimedia’s iRig BlueTurn. The wireless unit is a foot-controlled backlit page turner that is reportedly compatible with iOS and Android devices and transmits standard HID messages via Bluetooth.

Once paired with an iPhone, iPad, Android device or Mac, iRig BlueTurn’s two buttons can be used to turn pages and scroll through documents in three different modes. These are Page Up/Page Down for page navigation, Arrow Up/Arrow Down for scrolling line by line and Arrow Left/Arrow Right for page turning.

Powered by two AAA batteries, iRig BlueTurn can be a standalone unit or work with the manufacturer’s iKlip Xpand microphone stand mount for tablets as part of a page turning system.
