Hikvision adopts HDBaseT

WORLD: The HDBaseT Alliance has gained a new ‘Adopter’ member in the form of video surveillance manufacturer Hikvision. HDBaseT technology will enable Hikvision to facilitate ‘all-in-one connectivity between high-definition video sources and remote displays’.

‘HDBaseT expands the technological possibilities we can offer our customers, allowing for more bandwidth and longer distances without compromising on quality and performance,’ explained Qian Xuefeng, general manager of display and transmission at Hikvision.

‘Hikvision’s HDBaseT products will provide customers with an optimised solution for the transmission of ultra-high definition content,’ noted HDBaseT Alliance president Ariel Sobelman.
