Imagine Communications make key appointments amidst Labs launch
WORLD: Imagine Communications has confirmed a senior management reshuffle as it launches Imagine Communication Labs. The new appointments include a new leads for the aforementioned new division and the global services department, as well as the promotions of Sarah Foss to the role of CPO and Chris Sjerven to VP of operations.
Imagine Communications Labs has been setup to offer an efficient proof of concept testing service to validate complex workflow integrations, while also delivering hands-on experience of what it’s like to work in IP and cloud environments. This service is particularly aimed at media companies.
Heading up the new division is Peter Riordan, who joined the company recently from Encompass Digital Media. His 20 years of media industry experience includes stints at HBO and Discovery Communications, and in his new position, he will take responsibility for implementing best practices, such as AIMS partner interoperability testing, on a worldwide level.
The promotion of Sarah Foss sees her assume the role of chief product officer (CPO) for Imagine’s Advertising Management Solutions (AMS) portfolio. This is a newly-created role in which Ms Foss will report to company CEO Charlie Vogt.
Ajay Kapoor, meanwhile, takes on the role of leading the Global Services department. Mr Kapoor joined the company over two years ago and will now oversee a team of more than 200 support engineers and analysts across 30 countries.
Also promoted is Chris Sjerven, Imagine’s new vice president of operations. He too will report to Mr Vogt and will utilise his two decades of experience in global manufacturing and supply chain roles.
