Indian training events go down a Storm
INDIA: In a bid to further its growth in the SAARC region, WyreStorm has recently conducted a series of two-day training events in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The sessions were led by the manufacturer’s product manager, James Meredith, alongside India/SAARC sales manager, Rohan Tadke, and designed to support its distributors and dealers in the regions.
The seminars began with a company introduction and overview of the latest products. The first day then comprised training that focused on A/V over IP, with those in attendance exposed to WyreStorm’s NetworkHD line of products.
HD distribution, 4K/UHD and predicting future trends were the topics of the second day, while broadcasting standards, HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 were also explored. The company’s 4K HDMI and HDBaseT matrix switcher and extender products were displayed to attendees.
Enado and Enado Mini control systems, as well as Version 4 of the Enado software, were also detailed during day two, as BYOD browser A/V control was discussed. Also examined was the WyreStorm ScreenLink collaboration software for SW-0501 HDBaseT and IP presentation switchers that enable wireless conversations in boardrooms and classrooms.
‘Feedback from the WyreStorm training in Mumbai and Bengaluru was overwhelmingly positive with a fantastic response to our 2016 product line from attendees keen on offering their customers the latest in efficient, innovative solutions that can exceed their clients’ high expectations,’ said Mr Tadke. ‘With an ever-increasing number of commercial projects under construction for Indian and multinational companies, training in the latest signal distribution technology is essential for Indian installers, developers and project managers involved in such projects in an ever-more competitive market.’
‘The sessions were in depth and informative, covering both established and new technologies and industry best practice,’ recalled Mumbai attendee Mustafa Rampurwala, head of business at Solutions India Systems Pvt Ltd. ‘This really helped us understand the direction the A/V industry is heading and how WyreStorm can help integrators simplify the technology within their projects to provide solutions clients really need at a cost they will love.’
Also in attendance in Mumbai was RST Technologies Private Limited’s associate director, Abdul Waheed, who noted that ‘WyreStorm did a great job of spanning the breadth and depth of the HD technology and WyreStorm products. I really enjoyed seeing the products up close and being given the chance to get hands-on experience on with them with a member of staff there to answer any questions we had.’
