ISD completes the hat trick at Smaaash
INDIA: Following recent installations at Smaaash Mumbai and Smaaash Gurgaon, the third and final venue in the Smaaash sport, gaming and entertainment chain has also now been outfitted by Mumbai-based Integrated System Design (ISD) – this time with a Dynatech and P.Audio sound reinforcement system. The equipment was sourced through Mumbai-based Dev Electronics and the project was supported Sonotone Electronics.
Located in Hitech City, Hyderabad, the brand new complex features chill-out areas such as The Uncorked Bar and Bazzinga Café, in addition to offering patrons a selection of interactive activities including bowling and cricket. A total of 26 Dynatech HP8A active loudspeakers have been deployed across various common gaming areas, the party lounge and restaurant areas, while a pair of Dynatech HP12A active cabinets provide monitoring for the DJ booth. In addition to this, five P.Audio PCS-6FNT ceiling speakers driven by a Dynatech PA250 amplifier provide expended coverage to high-traffic areas. Powered by Dynatech V4000 amplifiers, custom-designed passive subwoofers featuring P.Audio’s SN Series drivers provide low-end fidelity across the entre premises. The complete system is controlled and managed through a Dynatech DPA360 management system.
‘We’ve carried forward the legacy of treating patrons to top-quality audio reproduction that keeps their ears pleased and their enthusiasm high,’ offered a representative from the Smaaash management. ‘Our customers say that the experience here is extremely immersive. Whether they’re at the bowling alley, the arcade section, the cricket nets or any of the dining and chill-out options, they absolutely seem to love the overall vibe – and the audio plays a huge role in this. The guys at Integrated System Design have done a fabulous job and the place sounds amazing.’
