WORLD: Jody Thomas has been named as Biamp’s new director of business development, bringing more than two decades of business and product development experience to the role. In his new position, Mr Thomas will be responsible for directing the manufacturer’s sales channel, sales and product management team, and strategic partnerships.

Mr Thomas most recently served as president at Emergent Communications Technology, a company that he founded in 2007. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Kayye Consulting and across both of these roles has reportedly gained an understanding of business development across IT and A/V, as well as systems integration, business management, market analysis, facilities design, product support, development and training.

‘Jody brings a vast A/V and IT systems integration background to Biamp,’ confirmed Matt Czyzewski, president and CEO of Biamp Systems. ‘His unique experience and approach will help drive the growth of our company, furthering our commitment to developing superior products, support and service across all channels.’

‘Biamp has been a constant as the industry has evolved into the IT space,’ Mr Thomas commented. ‘I am thrilled to join such an innovative team, and look forward to leveraging my knowledge to expand Biamp’s relationships and continue to drive exceptional customer experiences.’
