SINGAPORE: Ideal Systems has employed an experienced executive in subscriber management and billing solutions with more than two decades of experience supporting Asian telcos and pay-TV operators in Lindsay Ryan. Mr Ryan will utilise his background as the broadcast systems integrator’s new head of Asia Pacific business development for subscription, billing and CRM solutions.

In his new role, Mr Ryan will initially be working closely with Paywizard, a UK-based subscription, billing, and CRM company that has recently expanded its partnership with Ideal Systems to launch its Agile platform in Asia. Mr Ryan possesses experience of working with billing-solutions providers and communication platform manufacturers in successful deployments throughout the APAC region.

‘We are delighted to have somebody of Lindsay's calibre join our growing team as we expand our broadcast systems integration business into solutions for subscriber management, CRM and billing,’ said Ideal Systems’ CEO for South East Asia, Fintan Mc Kiernan. ‘We have repeatedly heard from our customers that new platforms and evolving viewer habits necessitate more flexibility from billing systems, and the legacy systems deployed in Asia are struggling to keep pace with massive changes. The timing for the introduction of Paywizard into the Asian market is perfect, as operators strive to reduce churn and operating costs.’
