Loud N Clear invests in K2
LEBANON: Beirut-based rental house, Loud N Clear, has refreshed its loudspeaker inventory with a significant investment in equipment from L-Acoustics. The company has purchased a K2 system as well as Kara and Arcs solutions.
‘Loud N Clear is one of the biggest rental companies in Lebanon and the wider Middle East and supplies some of the biggest concerts. As some international bands require L-Acoustics systems we decided to add it to our extensive offering,’ explained Loud N Clear’s Roger Bou Farhat. ‘We invested in K2 because it’s recommended in most technical riders. On top of this, it is a light box and it has a good sound.’
The initial investment has seen the rental company purchase 24 K2 speakers supported by eight K1-SB and 16 SB28s for low frequency extension. In addition to this, the company has bought 12 Kara cabinets with four SB18 subs. A third system purchase has seen the company buy four Arcs wide with the same number of Arcs Focus and four SB18M compact subs. Reinforcing the overall investment, Loud N Clear then decided to increase the size of its systems, taking its stock to 32 K2 cabinets, 24 Kara and 12 SB18s. The systems are all powered via the manufacturer’s LA8 amplifiers.
The first portion of the system has already been delivered, with the rest scheduled to arrive by the end of April. As such, the Loud N Clear team has already been through training on its new purchases. ‘The training was great and we had a good experience with Tobi Hoff regarding the Sound Vision software and the LA network and the right way to install it,’ said Mr Bou Farhat. ‘The system is very smooth and easy to use.’
Following this initial purchase, Mr Bou Farhat insists there will be more investment in the French manufacturer’s products. ‘We think we will go through to complete the system. This is only the beginning,’ he concluded.
