Loud N Clear shows its versatility
LEBANON: Loud N Clear recently supplied a variety of high-profile live events across the country. The rental house was responsible for live DJ sets in both Beirut and Dbayeh as well as a large-scale corporate event and concert in Beirut.
Taking place at Forum de Beyrouth, the first event was a corporate event catering to 6,000 people followed by performances from Wael Kfoury and Haifa Wehbe. To cover the 90m long x 100m wide space, Loud N Clear opted for 24 Martin Audio W8L Longbow cabinets for the main system with a further 16 W8LC for out-fill and six W8VDQ for in-fill. Low end was catered for by 12 S218 subs while monitoring was via 12 LE1200 wedges. The system was powered by Lab.gruppen amplifiers and driven by XTA loudspeaker management systems. Midas consoles were called into action for monitors and FOH with Pro2 and Pro9 desks used respectively.
The second event called on a different style of solution as it was a live DJ set exclusively using vinyl with the DJ positioned in the middle of the VVIP section. Loud N Clear opted to divide the solution into three separate zones. The main attendance was covered by an L-R system of 16 Martin Audio W8LC cabinets with four W8VDQ for in-fill. The VIP section was catered to by a further 16 W8LC which also provided out-fill. Meanwhile, the VVIP area was serviced by 14 W8LM alongside a pair of W8LMD. A total of 24 S218 subs provided low end, while two W8VDQ with two S218 formed the DJ monitor system.
The rental house was also called in to cover a similarly DJ-centric event at The Village – Dbayeh. The rental house once again opted for a Martin Audio solution, based on F15 and F8 cabinets with S218 subs. Power was via Crest Audio amps while XTA processing and control via a Midas M32 were also called into action.
Away from the live side of its business, Loud N Clear has also been involved with the design and installation of a pair of nightclub projects. At Notche in Faqra the company has specified a Martin Audio AQ series solution, comprising 12 AQ10 and four AQ215. The solution will be managed by XTA DP426 processors and powered by Lab.gruppen amps. A second club, La Cave in Kaslik, has also had a Martin AQ solution specified. This time, Loud N Clear opted for 22 AQ5 and eight CSX112. Processing will be via a Martin DX1.5 with amplification from Powersoft amplifiers.
