Manisa municipality opts for BXB
TURKEY: The metropolitan municipality council meeting hall for the Turkish city of Manisa has been equipped with a BXB FCS-6000 series conferencing solution. The solution was installed by Izmir-based systems integrator, Ilgin Elektro Akustik Co., Ltd and the room’s upgrade was supported by the city’s mayor, Cengiz Ergun.
The meeting hall has been equipped with 96 flush-mounted FCS-6026 delegate units plus the FCS-6025 chairman unit. Each seat in the room has its own mic and voting capabilities while the chairman position also features a 22-inch touchscreen monitor to control the conference, and see participants' information. The FCS-6071 control software package, which offers Turkish language functionality, has also been installed.
On the visual side of the project, the voting capabilities have been connected through to the meeting hall’s main screen, allowing for the instant display of results. In addition, Ilgin also installed the BXB C-901 camera control unit and five dome cameras inside and outside the hall. The camera system has been integrated with the conferencing solution to allow for camera tracking of whoever is speaking.
‘We have renewed our metropolitan municipality council meeting hall from head to toe, which is very important to us,’ said Mayor Ergun. ‘I hope that the final decisions from every meeting which is held in our renewed assembly hall will positively affect our city’s development and our future.’
With the first meetings in the newly refurbished hall having already taken place, BXB is full of praise for the work that the systems integrator has done. ‘We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Ilgin Elektro Akustik general manager, Zuhat Kaner, and his assembly team for their great effort and cooperation,’ said a company spokesperson.
