Masterclass Plugin now available for Mac OS X
Software Version 4.0 for RTW’s Loudness Tools and Mastering Tools plugins has reportedly been designed to provide users with more options to adapt audio monitoring solutions with personal preferences. The upgrade adds support for Mac OS X 10.11 ‘El Capitan’. It also includes a selectable 12th octave RTA, cinema loudness standards (TASA and SAWA) and a freely scalable display.
Version 4.0 Loudness Tools and Mastering Tools software can now be operated as stand-alone versions on both PC and Mac, providing additional availability to those who need to meet loudness specifications required by TV and radio broadcasters. This is achieved by transferring the analyser tools to plugins that require no additional hardware.
Loudness Tools features metering and loudness displays for mono, stereo, multichannel and surround applications, with eight channels maximum. All standard sampling rates up to 96kHz, including all widely used PPM and TruePeak measurements and scales, are incorporated into the software.
Additionally, Mastering Tools consists of analysis and display functions for mastering, metering and loudness measurements from single-channel and multichannel applications. These include a range of PPM scales and displays, VU appearance, TruePPM measurements, vectorscope, Surround Sound Analyser and RTA.
