Meyer Sound expands marketing team
WORLD: Meyer Sound has announced a number of changes and new additions to its in-house marketing team. Amy Huson has been appointed as director of marketing, business and programs, while Jane Eagleson has been named public relations manager. Ms Huson will be responsible for a range of marketing areas including the manufacturer’s international trade show programme, lead generation, channel support, vertical market strategies and website initiatives. Ms Eagleson will be the primary contact for pro audio trade media, support mainstream media outreach, and drive content development. Furthermore, Rachel Archibald’s role has been expanded to director of marketing, corporate and brand, where she will be responsible for product marketing, advertising, brand development and corporate brand experience.

Ms Huson joins Meyer Sound with ‘decades of experience’ in marketing and communications, including leadership positions at Harman, Plantronics and Autodesk, as well as serving as co-founder and vice-president of marketing at an audio software startup later acquired by Plantronics.
Ms Eagleson joins the manufacturer with more than 20 years’ experience in communications – primarily in the professional sailing world. She has led communications, event management and press relations for global sailing events including the Volvo Ocean Race and the Sydney Olympics. As the director of live entertainment for the 34th America’s Cup in San Francisco, she managed the America’s Cup Pavilion and Concert Series in partnership with Live Nation.
