Moov supports Dubai World Cup

UAE: Meydan has selected a graphics system from Moov to provide live race graphics to broadcasters for the world feed coverage of the Dubai World Cup carnival. The solution will use race data from PA Sports and provide a full suite of live racing graphics.

The main challenge with the system was the timescale. The company had only four weeks from the first contact to design and install the solution in Dubai. To achieve this, it sourced two new graphics systems from ChyronHego in the US on a short timescale and worked with RacingUK to get a full graphics package designed.

‘We have a long and proud history with horse racing so it was a real honour to have been selected to provide the graphics facilities at Meydan,’ said Duncan Foot, managing director of Moov. ‘To have built on our successes with BBC Sport, Sunset + Vine, Channel 4 and IMG over the past decade has been a real testament to the quality of staff that have worked on this sport for so long. We continue to innovate our horse racing graphics technology and believe that we are world leaders in this arena, so we are very proud to now be providing our products on the world’s richest horse race, the Dubai World Cup, in March.’
