NAMM's TEC Talks to provide an insight into Bob Moog
WORLD: Michelle Moog-Koussa, the executive director of the Bob Moog Foundation, and daughter of the man after which said foundation was named, will present recently uncovered family archival material amidst thousands of photos and documents as part of NAMM's TEC Talks during the 2017 NAMM Convention. Insights Into An Innovator: Bob Moog will take place at 10:30am on Saturday 21st January 2017 in room 202A of the Anaheim Convention Center. Mr Moog was the the inventor of the Moog synthesizer.
‘I have always been interested in my father being understood as a complete human being, beyond the shell of an iconic figure,’ said Ms Moog-Koussa. ‘Even I have been enlightened by some of the discoveries I have made in the last six months through exploring thousands of new items. NAMM was always a very meaningful event for my father, and for the past 10 years it has been for me as well. It's only fitting to reveal much of this material for the first time among the industry that played such an integral part in the Moog legacy.’
