Nominees revealed for 32nd NAMM TEC Awards

Published: WORLD

WORLD: The nominees have been announced for the 32nd annual NAMM TEC (Technical Excellence and Creativity) Awards. Over 900 products and projects were taken into consideration across the 23 categories that comprise the awards. Of the nominees, the winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony, which takes place on 21st January during the NAMM show and will be hosted for the third consecutive year by comedian and actor, Sinbad.

Bringing the category total up to 23 is the addition of two new categories: Audio Education Technology and DJ Production Technology - Hardware/Software. Reflected in the nominees is the growing demand for more compact and mobile products. Winners will be selected by industry professionals and pro audio-focused media groups.

‘The TEC Awards represent the annual “family reunion” of the world’s most technically-intuitive audio and recording inventors and developers. The incredible energy and passion these talented teams bring to our industry is simply priceless and it is gratifying to honour them for their contributions,’ said NAMM CEO and president, Joe Lamond. ‘What makes all of the TEC Award nominees so special to us at NAMM is the fact that these results represent the voice of the professionals who are out in the field interfacing with the gear on a daily basis.’
