Philips training heads to the Middle East

Published: MEA

MIDDLE EAST: Philips Entertainment will be hosting a pair of training events in the Middle East highlighting new products in its Vari-Lite, Selecon, Strand Lighting and Showline brands. The seminar takes place at Prolites in Lebanon on May 3 before heading to sister company Procom in Dubai for an identical session on May 6.

The seminars are both aimed at systems integrators and installers as well as rental companies and TV studio professionals in the region. Both will have the same programme, covering an overview of the brands and their history, an overview of stage lighting design and an explanation of the system design/project approach. This will be followed by a product catalogue of Selecon, Strand, Vari-Lite and Showline and a session on why people should choose Philips’ products and services closes the event.

‘Procom has added Vari-Lite to its catalogue and wanted to introduce this product with a training session,’ said Procom’s Rami Harfouch. ‘Also, Philips Selecon and Philips Strand Lighting have launched new products recently including a state-of-the-art TV studio lighting series and LED key lighting as well as new control consoles. It will be a chance to take a fresh look on stage lighting theory through the lens of the Philips Entertainment. The items will be on demo in our showroom including the latest Vari-Lites and the latest TV studio series of Philips strand lighting. This will be a summit for stage lighting professionals with some of the most prestigious lighting brands.’
