Rajkot Sound & Stage Light Owners Association hosts fourth annual pro audio workshop
INDIA: The Rajkot Sound & Stage Light Owners Association recently partnered with Sai Systems for the fourth time to hold its annual pro audio workshop. The three-day event reportedly attracted of over 450 audio professionals from across the Saurashtra region and covered the basics of live and DJ sound. Yamaha, Pioneer and Wharfedale Pro equipment was all demonstrated as part of the workshop and supplied by Sai Systems and sourced from the Dev Electronics, the regional distributor of Yamaha and Pioneer products, and Indian distribution partner for Wharfedale Pro.
Taking place at the Garden Fairyland Resort in Rajkot, the workshop’s topics included the essential techniques for both live sound and DJ applications, as well as the technology available. Conventional loudspeakers systems and line arrays were discussed on day one, while day two explored digital technologies such as digital mixing consoles and digital signal processing, and day three was dedicated to learning about DJ technologies. Attendees were given practical demonstrations of the equipment in addition to the opportunity to get hands on experience.

This workshop has been one such initiative, where the intention is to increase the knowledge that our industry professionals hold about the various technologies for live and DJ sound,’ said Kamlesh Dodiya of the Rajkot Sound & Stage Light Owners Association. ‘We are extremely thankful to all those live sound engineers, rental company owners, DJs and traders who came from across Saurashtra and graced this event with their presence. We are also thankful to the entire team at Sai Systems, who played a key role in ensuring that every aspect of the technical setup was perfect.’
