Following the 2015 introduction of the TT25-CXA coaxial within the SMA stage monitor range, RCF has added the active TT45-CXA model. Based on the TT45-SMA, the TT45-CXA comprises dual 10-inch woofers and a horn-loaded 4-inch compression driver within a birch plywood symmetrical cabinet and finished in polyurea coating. Internal amplification is provided by two modules supplying 550W (AES) RMS to the LF and MF/HF sections.

Designed to produce an ‘unmatched’ vocal dynamic for floor monitor use on high SPL stages, its capability is extended to side-fill duties courtesy of the side-mounting options of its flying hardware in addition to as a flown cabinet from the stage trussing using quick-lock pins. Aluminium side and top handles have also been incorporated into its design. DSP control and system management is catered for with a full suite of RDNet processing.

Filling a void between the Media and Compact series within the Installed Sound portfolio, the CK Series has been designed as a club system. Currently comprising of the CK10, CK12 and CK25 cabinets, the 10-, 12- and 15-inch models each come with a passive filter and integrated protection. The chassis profile of the birch plywood enclosure has been cut away in a curve, which in addition to providing a cosmetic advantage also creates an acoustic benefit by avoiding side reflections. A rear bass reflex port enables systems integrators to maximise wall mounting options with points located on both the corners and the sides. Rubber bungs have been added in the side of the grilles, ensuring no direct contact between the wood and the grille.

Lastly, following the 2015 launch of the SUB 9007-AS, the Italian manufacturer has now added the SUB 9006-AS. Loaded with two 18-inch long excursion neodymium woofers with 4-inch voice coils powered by an 1,800W (AES) RMS amplifier, the SUB 9006-AS complements the HDL10-A, 20-A and 50-A propropylene composite arrays within the D-Line series. In addition to driving the sub frequencies down to 30Hz, the lower 550mm high profile addition differentiates itself by being equipped with RDNet processing. Whilst the Class-D switching power supply is set on shock mounts and isolated within its own housing, the composite material of the enclosure itself has been designed to dampen vibrations. Other features include powerCon inputs and outputs, top-loaded M20 eyebolt threads and four lateral aluminium handles.
