Ross Video adds Bruce Joyce to board of directors
WORLD: Ross Video has expanded its board of directors with the addition of Bruce Joyce as an independent director. Mr Joyce is described by the company as having extensive experience in both corporate finance and corporate governance. The appointment follows a period of rapid growth for the Canadian manufacturer, including a number of successful brand acquisitions in recent years.
The founding chair of the Ottawa Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Mr Joyce brings heavyweight experience to his new role. Having spent 23 years with Deloitte, he was also the managing partner for the National Capital Region and currently serves as an independent director on a number of publicly listed company boards, as well as a private company advisory board and the audit committee of a public sector organisation. Most recently, he was appointed executive-in-residence of the Gerald Schwarz Business School at Nova Scotia’s St Francis Xavier University, where he developed and led a course on leadership.
‘We are pleased to be able to strengthen our board with someone the calibre of Bruce Joyce,’ said David Ross, CEO of Ross Video. ‘His wealth of financial and governance knowledge will benefit Ross as we continue our explosive global growth trajectory.’
‘I’m proud to be chosen as an independent director on the Ross Video Board of Directors,’ added Mr Joyce. ‘Ross is an amazing company with an impressive track record. I am looking forward to helping the organisation navigate the intricacies and the kind of growth and global expansion that Ross is currently enjoying.’
