SGTC hosts Q-Sys training

Published: MEA

UAE: Dubai-based QSC distributor, SGTC Pro, recently hosted two days of Q-Sys level 1 training. The event took place at the distributor’s Dubai offices and saw 24 engineers from A/V systems integration companies become certified.

The training was led by QSC’s Erçin Ural and SGTC’s divisional manager, Simon Daniel, believes this support adds extra credibility to the training. ‘When QSC is behind us, then our clients are also comfortable since they are able to get the full support from the manufacturer,’ he explained.

This training was just one in a series of Q-Sys certification courses that have taken place recently, and Mr Daniel is keen to see as many integrators as possible educated on the solution. ‘We intend to educate all the systems integration companies about the facilities of the Q-Sys core and how economic it is when compared to the competition,’ he stated. ‘With more certified Q-Sys engineers on board we will see more effective projects emerge.’

With this in mind, the distributor is also planning to host further level 1 certification events, plus the more advanced level 2 training. ‘We intend to hold the level 2 training by February 2017,’ announced Mr Daniel.
