Simon Tang to lead Elite Screens Hong Kong

HONG KONG: Elite Screens has named Simon Tang as the president of its newly launched Hong Kong facility. The new operation has been opened to handle the manufacturer’s South East Asia sales territories.

Elite Screens decided to open the facility as it wanted a dedicated office focused specifically on the needs of its customers in South East Asia. Heading the operation, Mr Tang is a veteran of the A/V industry with a large amount of experience in sales gathered from positions throughout the US, Europe and Asia.

The manufacturer believes the Hong Kong office will provide it with a number of advantages. First, it will allow Elite’s worldwide network of international offices to create an overlapping network of service and available product. All products will be available through each office at once, and if there is a shortage through one branch, another can cover it.

‘It is great to see the company expand throughout the Americas, Europe, China, Japan and Australia but we have had big plans for South East Asia,’ said Dave Rodgers, marketing manager at Elite’s US corporate office. The goal of this branch will be to both serve the Southeast Asian countries with quality product as well as be a point of education promoting buyer and seller knowledge on our dynamic industry.
