Sovico Spring blossoms again
KOREA: Held during the final day of the Koba Korean broadcasting show, pro audio manufacturer and distributor Sovico staged its now annual Sovico Spring presentation two subway stops away from the COEX in Amoris Hall. The private RSVP event welcomed over 250 guests who to bore witness to demonstrations, presentations, keynote speeches and educational seminars whilst enjoying the buffet and refreshments on offer in the upmarket venue.
The event commenced when Sovico planning and marketing director Jay Han unveiled the company’s latest new products for which six models of Class-D digital amplifiers integrating on board DSP, LEDs and Neutrik connectors were unveiled. Grouped under the SAC umbrella, the S4DE and S4E versions have been engineered for DSP and matrix applications, whilst the X2D, X4, X4D and S8 amplifiers have been specifically designed for the touring and installation sectors.
Categorised within the commercial catalogue, attendees were provided with a full explanation of the Matrix re:defined audio management systems. The sleekly designed A, C (DSP audio controller), M (remote microphone station) and W (wall controller) processors are all outfitted with RS485 ports providing remote management and control.
The finale to the unveiling of products climaxed with the showcasing of the DNL series of loudspeakers including the DNL-12P cabinet. All six models incorporate Pascal digital amplification, B&C Speakers transducers and AllDSP digital signal processing. B&C’s sales manager Gianluca Dalessandro flew in especially from Florence for the occasion to explain the significance of B&C’s consistency and performance.
Following lunch the afternoon session allowed invitees to view the exhibits in the pre reception area including Barix, Belden, Furman, Barix, Lectrosonics, Littlite, Neutrik, Polycom, QSC Q-Sys and RTS.
