Sun Infonet and Shure MEA bring Microflex Advance to India
INDIA: New Delhi-based distributor Sun Infonet recently held back-to-back seminars in Mumbai and Bengaluru to introduce Shure’s Microflex Advanced Array microphones to the local market. Held in partnership with Shure MEA for corporate clients, A/V consultants and systems integrators, the manufacturer’s technical support engineer Ritenda Poaddar led the sessions in both locations, providing an introduction and overview of the MXA networked ceiling and table array microphones. Following the seminars, Sun Infonet and Shure MEA together provided the same experience to visitors at InfoComm India 2016, where the units were officially introduced to the Indian market alongside live video conferencing demos performed with the MXA 910 ceiling and MXA 310 table arrays.
‘The two seminars in Mumbai and Bangalore were a milestone on many fronts – it was our first activity in India with Sun Infonet, it is the debut of MXA in India and we were able to meet and receive a lot of valuable feedback from the market,’ enthused Chicco Hiranandani, director at Shure MEA.
Taking place at The Lalit Hotel in Mumbai and the Hotel JW Marriott in Bengaluru, both sessions saw Mr Poddar deliver a presentation on MXA followed by a live demo in which a videoconference system was used to simulate a live call. According to the distributor, the seminars also offered a ‘great platform for A/V users and professionals to share their best practices and experiences’.
‘Today I feel very privileged and honoured to be invited to attend this seminar and would like to take this opportunity to express my deep thanks to Shure and Sun Infonet for organising it,’ offered audio consultant Andrew Samraj. ‘Such seminars provide a unique and very useful platform to showcase competitive advantages and to exchange information, ideas and experiences. The live demonstrations of newly-launched products and presentation of their key features helps us to stay up-to-date on technical advancement within the Shure fixed-install product portfolio. This information is extremely relevant and helps us to provide the best solutions for our client’s technical requirements.’
Thanks to the success of both sessions, the two companies have committed to partnering on similar seminar events again in the future, with Sun Infonet director Neeraj Chandra extending thanks to Shure MEA and all attendees for their support in making the smeinars a big success.’
