The Rigging Shop becomes Kinesys’ Australian distributor

Published: ASIA

AUSTRALIA: Following the recent visit to Australia undertaken by Kinesys managing director Dave Weatherhead, the manufacturer of motion control products for applications such as in theatres, for touring shows and corporate events, has appointed The Rigging Shop (TRS) as its distributor in the country.

TRS has carried selected Kinesys stock, including the Elevation variable speed chain hoist controller and DigiHoist controllers since its inception in 2011. The company is led by Mike Stephenson and Pollard Productions owner James Ring. Pollard productions has been Kinesys customer since 2008 and both Mr Ring and Mr Stephenson are well versed with the equipment.

‘I continue to be impressed with how the products are designed and engineered by people who really understand the principles, practices and responsibilities of rigging,’ said Mr Ring. ‘We are proud to take on the distributorship and really value being part of the Kinesys international team.’

‘TRS share our core values, standards of excellence and attention to detail,’ explained Mr Weatherhead. ‘They have the right attitude and bring a huge amount of knowledge and enthusiasm to the equation and through the Pollard Productions connection, the TRS team is also really experienced with our product ranges. We are confident of a very positive future.’
