UE Pro re-masters in-ear monitoring

Published:

The UE Pro Reference Remastered is the latest custom in-ear monitor by Ultimate Ears Pro (UE Pro) and was developed as part of a collaboration with Capitol Studios. Designed to be tuned for high-resolution audio the UE Pro Reference Remastered marks the second time that the manufacturer has worked alongside the Hollywood, California-based studios which describes itself as being ‘at the forefront of hi-res audio recordings’.

Featuring an internal mechanical structure to ensure the faithful presentation of frequencies alongside the natural occlusion provided by in-ear monitors, the UE Pro Reference Remastered has been built to give the effect of working in an acoustically controlled studio. Following their previous joint effort on the UE Pro Reference Monitor, UE Pro and Capitol Studios have fashioned this IEM to allow users to experience the nuances and details of hi-res recordings anywhere.

The manufacturer’s True Tone Drivers have been employed within the UE Pro Reference Remastered, extending the frequency range and delivering a flat response of 18kHz. Also included is the ability to reportedly provide a 26dB attenuation of environment noise and the IEM can be connected to any audio interface via its ⅛-inch headphone jack or the ¼-inch adaptor included.
