Wild & Marr to host ClearOne training
SOUTH AFRICA: Johannesburg-based distributor, Wild & Marr, is set to host four days of ClearOne training. It will be hosting the manufacturer’s Voice and Visual Communication Solution workshops which will see a number of technical specialist courses held over four days from 26 to 29 September 2016. The training will take place at Wild & Marr’s head office in Johannesburg and will be presented by Mario Rimini and Ron Lynch from ClearOne.
‘It is vital that as communication methods evolve, the tools to support voice and visual communications advances,’ said Wild & Marr’s marketing manager, Andrew Sorrill. ‘ClearOne endeavours to provide leading products in their product offering and we would like to empower our integrators and users with these technical specialist courses.’
The first session will be held on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 September and will focus on professional audio solutions for voice and video conferencing. It will cover audio basics, Converge Pro and the Beamforming Microphone Array configuration. The second technical specialist course covers solutions for Network Media Streaming. This takes place on Wednesday 28 September providing insight into what A/V over IP is where the objective is to provide the ultimate experience by streaming high-definition audio and video content over TCP/IP networks for commercial and residential installations. The final course offers technical specialist training for local or cloud-based media collaboration solutions that covers mobile, desktop, group, and infrastructure. This six hour course will be held on Thursday 29 September 2016.
‘We are looking forward to our visit to South Africa where we can showcase new products and provide training for systems integrators,’ said Mario Rimini CTS sales director for ClearOne. ‘There are many useful voice and visual communications solutions that ClearOne has to offer, in particular the cloud-based Spontania that allows the sharing of high-quality voice, video and data on any device.’
The training is aimed at dealers, A/V programmers and systems integrators as well as audio industry professionals that require a better understanding of the video conferencing, voice and visual communication solutions that ClearOne has to offer. The distributor states that registration for these courses is essential.
