MIDDLE EAST: A number of concerts across the Middle East have called on Avid mixing consoles recently. The volume of events that have taken place during a busy portion to the season has meant that Avid Venue desks have regularly been called into action.
Concerts from the likes of Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez, Katie Perry, Usher, and 50 Cent have all used Venue desks in recent times, while the Dead Can Dance performance in Lebanon also had Venue specified on the rider. For this gig FOH engineer Miles Wilson specified a Venue SC48 for mixing duties while Mathiew Jones on monitors used a Profile with one stage rack and three mix engines.
