MALAYSIA & CHINA: Harman Professional has announced the addition of a new sales processing team in Malaysia, consisting of order entry manager Asnura Arifin and a team of three sales coordinators.
This new division will handle all of the order processing for its distributors in the Asian Pacific region.
Yuki Wan is now responsible for the order processing in North Asia and China, Saravanan Rathananthadevan handles the Central Asia region including India and Jackie Lee is in charge of the order processing in the South Asia region. All four members of the team have extensive SAP and customer service experience, which has already allowed them to make an immediate impact with the team. ‘With the addition of this new sales processing team, Harman Professional is thinking globally and acting locally,’ said senior Asian director of sales, David McKinney. ‘We’re providing local market order entry teams to ensure we’re open when our customers and channel partners are open and we’re addressing local market language and customs at a more sensitive level than ever before. We have already seen an improvement in the speed and efficiency of our order processing, and we all look forward to working with this new team in the future.’
HarmanPro has also appointed three skilled audio executives into the Shenzhen sales team to work closely with its brand-level sales and engineering teams, with the objective to develop the company’s market presence in China including the development of market communication, product development, sales and support.
Holding a degree in English, Vinne Peng joins the company as marketing and communications manager, having previously worked with Artsound International who represented Sennheiser in China. Marconi Lee has degree in business administration and brings experience from the commercial and pro audio markets in addition to the conferencing and PA system markets, as he previously worked with TOA China and Bosch Communications. With a BA in Electronics, Jack Wu most recently served as business development manager with TC Group China, but was previously employed by Prime Connections, handling both pro audio and cinema sales, with a focus on QSC Audio products. ‘With the addition of these seasoned professionals, Harman is adding valuable experience to the team to address existing and emerging vertical markets in China,’ commented Harman Pro director of sales in North Asia, Thomas Marcher. ‘We are excited to begin working with each of our new members and we are confident that they will make an immediate and lasting impact.’
