AAA updates L-Acoustics roster

AUSTRALIA: AAA Production Services recently took stock of 42 L-Acoustics K2 loudspeakers, 24 SB28 subwoofers and six LA-RAK modular touring racks. The production company invested in the new system to use primarily for concerts and festivals. The purchase was facilitated by the manufacturer’s Australian distributor, Hills.

‘We took delivery of our first L-Acoustics Kudo system back in 2005,’ recalled Neil Campbell, director of AAA Production Services. ‘We’ve been extremely happy and wanted to continue our association with the manufacturer. We felt that it was important for us to be able to offer the very latest cabinets. When we were ready to look at a new system, K2 was the obvious choice because it’s highly flexible.’

Since taking delivery, AAA has put the system to use on several high-profile productions. ‘Gerry Gavros at Hills assisted in expediting the sea shipment to meet our deadline for the summer festival season,’ said Mr Campbell. ‘The system arrived a week ahead of schedule, which allowed us more time to get familiar with it before hitting the road. Our audio guys are delighted and our clients are also impressed by the sonic improvements in the K2.’
