INDIA: Indian broadcaster ABP News Network has reportedly streamlined its media workflows with the installation of media asset management (MAM) systems from Masstech. The new MAM solutions cover ABP’s headquarters in Noida and facilities in Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Mumbai, enabling fully-automated workflows. This marks Masstech’s largest sale to an Indian news organisation to date.
ABP operates four channels - ABP News, ABP Ananda, ABP Majha and ABP Asmita – and an online service. As well as broadcasting throughout India, it also distributes its content internationally. The newly installed MAM solution is designed to interface seamlessly with the broadcaster’s existing production systems.
‘Masstech MAM solutions are delivering tangible productivity benefits and superior return on investment to all types of premium media organisations worldwide,’ said Joe French, president and CEO of Masstech. ‘We're excited to bring these advantages to one of India's leading news companies .We are honoured that ABP has chosen us for their important MAM initiative, and we look forward to working closely with them as they grow and evolve.’
