ACE develops Chinese menus for Lynx Hilo

CHINA: Advanced Communication Equipment Co Ltd (ACE) has recently partnered with manufacturer Lynx Studio to develop a dedicated Chinese-language menu set for the Lynx Hilo Convertor. The set will be available exclusively through ACE.

‘With Hilo, our initial goal was to offer the best possible audio conversion for mastering and other critical audio applications. Our secondary goal, made possible by the versatility offered by Hilo’s touch screen, is to add features, capabilities and functions not possible on other converters,’ stated David Hoatson, Lynx cofounder and chief software engineer. ‘The ability to offer multiple language operation is unique to Hilo. And we decided to start with the most difficult – Chinese. With the assistance of our partners at ACE, this is now available.’

Hilo is a two-channel audio A/D/A converter that places an emphasis on signal quality. Control is via the 480x272 front-panel touchscreen, and it is hear that the new menus can be found. Dedicated Chinese screens now exist for all primary functions in addition to a further three meter sets and more than 25 sub menus.

‘Hilo has been a very strong product for us in the professional as well as audiophile markets,’ added ACE’s Sunny Li. ‘We are very pleased to offer this added benefit for ease of use for our customers in Hong Kong and China.’
