Amate parties at Jarasum

KOREA: For the 13th year running, Jarasum in Gapyeong played host to the Jarasum International Jazz Festival, with a crowd of over 30,000 attending the three-day event that saw performances from several internationally renowned artists as well as headliner Caetano Veloso. Amate Audio solutions, supplied by the manufacturer’s South Korean distributor Daelim Musical Instruments, were deployed by Sid Sound across many of the festival’s 10 stages, including The Party Stage, Welcome Stage and Village Gaoyeong Stage.

The Party Stage solution was formed from the manufacturer’s Xcellence Series and comprised, with left and right arrays of 12 X210 above four X208 line array cabinets. These were accompanied by eight X218W, four X215W and a pair of X21T subwwofers for the low-ends, while four X14T stage monitors, four X15LTE and two P15A point source systems completed the setup.

Meanwhile, the Welcome and Village Gaoyeong stages were reinforced by the Joker Series. The small Welcome Stage setup consisted of a pair of JK318A three–way systems and two JK12A point source systems, with four NT15s serving as stage monitors and two P10A point source systems also implemented. Providing coverage for the Village Gaoyeong Stage were two JK318A, deployed with a pair of X15CE stage monitors. Two JK15A and JK26A+ point source systems were installed, as well as a pair of JK46A column array speakers.
