Analog Way appoints Philippe Vitali as integration and application software director

WORLD: French manufacturer Analog Way has appointed Philippe Vitali to lead a new R&D team focusing on the development of accessories and tools for the integration of the company’s processors into automation and IT environments. Named the integration and application software team, Mr Vitali’s department will be based in Analog Way’s headquarters near Paris.
Taking the title integration and application software director, Mr Vitali joined Analog Way specifically to establish the new R&D team. He is described by the manufacturer as possessing ‘a strong background in software development and team management, gained within leading global companies’.
Among the new team’s responsibilities will be the creation of drivers enabling third party control, mobile applications to control the company’s devices, and remote maintenance solutions. It has already released a series of drivers to facilitate the control of the LiveCore and Midra ranges via AMX and Crestron 2 and 3-series systems. In addition, Mr Vitali will directly support integrators and consultants.
