Asian Paints House goes wireless with Shure

INDIA: A Shure MXW microphone system has been installed in the boardroom at Asian Paints House in Santacruz East, Mumbai. The room is used to cater to high-level presentations, meetings and conferences, however the existing microphone array integrated with the conference system was hampering speech intelligibility. Shure distributor, Sun Infonet was tasked with installing a new system that would extend audio pickup to the whole room.

Following a demo, the management decided to replace the existing system with eight MX410LP/C modular gooseneck microphones and a MXW8 gooseneck base transmitter with MXWAPT8-access point transceiver and MXWANI8 audio network interference. The wireless units now provide individual audio pickup from each table position.

‘The MXW gooseneck wireless microphone installed is working well for local speech and gives a wire-free and neat appearance on the Board Room table,’ explained a Sun Infonet spokesperson. ‘The 8-channel MXW wireless system is user-friendly in a way that it automatically assigns RF frequency for all microphones with a single docking station and charges the battery and lasts up to 10 hours.’

The system is supported by an Allen & Heath mixer accommodating 8-channels and is further integrated with DSP from Clearone.
