Audio-Pro launches in Mumbai

INDIA: An online suite designed specifically for sound engineers was officially unveiled in Mumbai recently. Named Audio-Pro, the platform aims to provide self-employed sound engineers with a range of tools to help setup and run their own professional business. The launch in India was held in partnership with webstore Sudeep Audio, which will be providing ‘easy access’ to the platform in India.
The event was hosted at the Manik Sabhagriha, Bandra, and was attended by nearly 200 music producers, composers and audio engineers in addition to Audio-Pro’s Donal Whelan and Marc Stafford. Mr Whelan has worked in the music industry for over two decades, both freelance and at his own studio, with the Audio-Pro toolset developed forming the culmination of his experience.
‘The launch was auspicious and went off really well,’ remarked Mr Whelan, founder of Audio-Pro. ‘I am pleased with the response and truly hope for Audio-Pro to progress very well in India. We can gauge the success of the platform with time though there's been a lot of interest.’
The Audio-Pro toolset includes a custom website builder with social media integration, file transfer, news and blogging tools. Standard business accounting functionality such as invoicing and online payments has also been built in.
‘We have a good core client base in Mumbai but we would like to reach further afield and find new clients – that is the vision with which we have launched Audio-Pro,’ added Mr Whelan. ‘Our long-standing association with Sudeep Audio is to ensure that our delivery and services are offered in the best manner possible.'
