Audio-Technica taps into India at the source

INDIA: Green Sources has been named as the new distributor for Audio-Technica’s full range of installation wired and wireless microphones in India. Established in 2009, the distributor is experienced in representing premium brand A/V, conferencing and mounting solutions in the region.

‘The appointment of Green Sources is in line with our commitment to the Indian market and is one of the initiatives from the bouquet of investments Audio-Technica is making towards this important market,’ explained Manabu Aoki, Audio-Technica Corporation Japan’s general manger for the international division. ‘I look forward to the further development of a strong and co-operative strategic alliance strengthening Audio-Technica’s profile in India.’

Green Sources managing director Swadesh Khetawat expressed his enthusiasm at the deal. ‘We are excited to be associated with Audio-Technica,’ he said. ‘With our Pan India presence and long experience catering to the A/V domain, we will add great value to Audio-Technica.’
