AVI Expo 2016 unexpectedly cancelled

INDIA: With just over a week to go before doors were due to open, the organisers behind the 2016 AVI Expo taking place in New Delhi have made the decision to postpone the event, citing concerns with logistics at the venue, together with floor space and the quality of services.
A statement issued to exhibitors explains that the decision to postpone the expo comes as a result of ‘various factors, including the recent rains and other international perceptions in regard to safety.’
The AVI Expo 2016 was due to take place from 4-6 August at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
