Belden appoints eurotech in Pakistan

PAKISTAN: US cable specialist Belden has announced eurotech fzc as its new ‘industrial distributor’ in Pakistan, with VP of sales & marketing Keith Mauck explaining that he sees Belden as a ‘good complement to their product mix, enhancing revenue and market growth to them’.
Though a privately owned UAE company, eurotech has a branch in Pakistan as well as corporate offices in the UK, and is considered by Belden to be ‘one of the leading distributors of electronic, Industrial & telecom products in the region’. According to Mr Mauck, the distributor’s appointment will ‘strengthen the distribution network of Belden products, bringing it into more markets and to more customers’.
The supplier was equally enthusiastic about the appointment following the announcement of the agreement. ‘We are extremely proud to have been appointed by Belden to be their specialist distributor for the Industrial market in Pakistan,’ commented Tariq Zia, director of eurotech. ‘We believe we can add significant value to grow business for Belden in this market due to our strong industry knowledge.’
