First GTO system sold to Korea

KOREA: The first large Outline GTO C-12 system to be sold into South Korea has been purchased by rental house, Blessway. Facilitated by the manufacturer’s Korean distributor, Hebsiba Multimedia Co, Ltd, the sale included 24 Outline GTO C-12 main arrays and two GTO-DF downfill cabinets. The rental company decided to invest following a demonstration at the manufacturer’s headquarters in Italy.
‘We had been aware of the Outline system through marketing materials and exhibits here in Korea. When we make purchases, we take great consideration into the quality of both customer service and the product itself,’ offered a spokesperson from Blessway. ‘During our demonstration in Italy, we could see that the system retains a stable response, even at high-power outputs, and it is also very easy to operate. These were the primary reasons behind our decision to purchase.’
The rental company plans to use the new system to cater to medium-sized local events and indoor concerts, and is considering acquiring more C-12 cabinets as the company continues to expand. ‘We are planning to upgrade and expand our main system by adding more GTO C-12s and by using iSM 212 and iSM 115 stage monitors so that we can accommodate bigger events held in arenas and stadiums,’ added the Blessway spokesperson. ‘We are also very interested in small speaker systems including the Eidos 265 and Mini-Compass.’
‘Recently our South Korean distributor, Hebsiba, brought an important sound reinforcement company client to our main facility in Brescia, Italy,’ commented Outline CEO, Giorgio Biffi. ‘The nearby multi-function Palabrescia Theater was chosen as the venue to conduct an extensive listening demonstration and evaluation process with our products. We are extremely pleased to announce that Blessway has now taken receipt of 24 GTO C-12 and two GTO-DF loudspeakers as a result of this demo. Blessway is the first sound reinforcement company to purchase a GTO system in South Korea and we are very excited to have them in the Outline family of users.’
